Trail of Honor: Cody Myers Memorial Race
The Trail of Honor: Cody Myers Memorial Race is a community memorial trail event in Lock Haven, PA, presented by the Sons of Italy Lodge #146 in partnership with the Keystone Central Foundation. The event is a timed trail run and ruck that benefits the Cody Myers Legacy Scholarship, which supports graduating seniors in the Keystone Central School District who demonstrate leadership and mentorship. Registration is managed in advance and has a stated deadline in October.
Course and support
The course is an out-and-back route starting and finishing at the Sons of Italy Campground and measures approximately 8.7 miles following Scootac Road. Terrain is a mix of dirt and singletrack trail, described as generally flat and fast with just under 900 feet of total elevation gain. Two stocked aid stations are provided on course, with one roughly at mile 2 and another at the turnaround near mile 4.25. The route will be clearly marked and open to runners, hikers, and ruckers, and volunteers will be available for basic support. The event is described as timed but low-key, with a community-focused atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
