The Utepils Trail Loppet is an urban trail running event in Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. Sunday’s race courses start at the Trailhead and finish at Utepils Brewing, where a beer garden will be open and participants receive a complimentary Utepils drink after the race. Proceeds benefit the Loppet Foundation. The weekend also includes Loppet Field Day on Saturday, an untimed kids trail run and family-friendly activities at the Trailhead.

The Half Marathon course has five fluid stations; the 10K and 5K have two. Portable toilets will be at all fluid stations and Gu gels will be available at two half marathon stations. Packet pickup is available on the days before and the morning of the event; race shirts are distributed at packet pickup. Parking is recommended at the Mortenson parking lot, with limited Trailhead parking and shuttle buses running from the finish back to the Trailhead and Mortenson. Awards are given to the top three overall men, women, and non-binary finishers in each distance. Free training plans are provided for each distance, and athlete tracking is available for the Half Marathon and Half-Half. Registration fees are non-refundable.
