Trail Festival at Pineland Farms

The Trail Festival at Pineland Farms is a two day trail running event on May 23 to May 24, 2026 at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. The event program includes a range of distance races, 30 Hour solo and team options, canicross races, pacer roles, and a kids fun run.

Courses use mostly wide, well groomed double track trails. They are not highly technical but include rocks, roots, and ruts. Aid station setup varies by distance: the 25k, 50k, and 100k use two water stops that are passed twice per lap and there is also a water stop at the start/finish. The 5k, Canicross, and Sunset 5k use one water stop passed twice. The 10k and 15k each have two water stops. Additional items such as pickle juice and assorted snacks are available while supplies last; participants are responsible for their own hydration and nutrition.

Camp spaces for 30 Hour racers are assigned first come first serve with a minimum 12' x 12' area per solo or team. No open flames are allowed; small one or two burner camp stoves using small 16 oz propane cylinders are permitted and spent cylinders must be carried out. Gas generators are not allowed. Camping the night before at the venue is not permitted, though racers and spectators may remain on staging spaces during the event. When arriving, vehicles may drive near the venue to unload then must use campus parking; parking in the market lot, on the side of roads, or in spaces reserved for businesses is not permitted. Spectators are allowed. There are no formal age restrictions, but minors should have an adult on site throughout their run.

Live music and a Baxter Brewing beer garden are scheduled as part of the weekend. Typical May weather guidance notes daytime temperatures around 60 to 70 degrees, overnight lows near 45 degrees, and the possibility of rain that could affect conditions on course.
