Bradbury Winter Mixer
The Bradbury Winter Mixer is a winter trail race held at Bradbury trails in Pownal, ME on January 31, 2027. The course uses a mix of single and double-track trails with a few rolling hills and classic Bradbury terrain. Trail conditions are variable: the event may be a snowshoe race, but if there is insufficient snow participants will use spikes or trail shoes.
Distances
- 5 Miler
Race rules and on-course expectations include a cutoff of 1 hour 48 minutes (18-minute mile pace), yielding and clear communication when passing, staying on the marked course, and packing out all personal litter. Headphones are discouraged so runners can hear volunteers and other trail users. Dogs are not permitted on course or at the event.
Field size and entry details are limited: the race is capped at 125 runners, with no wait list, no bib transfers, and no same day registration. The first 50 registered runners will receive custom running gloves and must be present at pickup to receive them.
Prizes and awards include first choice from the prize table for the top three overall male and female finishers, plus additional prizes awarded by random drawings among decade age group winners. The event is organized by a volunteer nonprofit running group and proceeds support race equipment and local outdoor and trail related nonprofits.
