Trail du Coureur des Bois

The Trail du Coureur des Bois de Duchesnay takes place at the Station touristique Duchesnay. The event offers seven trail running distances: 48 km, 34 km, 25 km, 18 km, 8 km, 3 km, and a youth race of 1.5 km. The event is TRAIL sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec and attracts nearly 2500 participants.

The courses explore the station's trails, including single track sections, cross-country ski trails, forest roads, and offer viewpoints over Lac Saint-Joseph and Lac Sergent. The longest course (48 km) includes a new segment with demanding ridges and a technical section between kilometers 38 and 40. The 48 km race is a qualifier for the Québec Mega Trail (QMT) 135 and awards two ITRA points. The 34 km race awards one ITRA point.

The event received the Novae 2020 Prize in the "Top 20 Impact Innovations of the Year" category. A partnership with Québec Mega Trail allows for a random draw of two QMT entries among all participants.

Course maps and elevation gain files are available for download. On-course signage and volunteer instructions take precedence over these documents. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
