Québec Mega Trail (QMT)

The Québec Mega Trail is an ultra trail event scheduled from 2 to 5 July 2026. Presented by Salomon and World Trail Majors, it offers multiple routes on trails in the Quebec region. The courses run from the banks of the St. Lawrence River through Charlevoix to Mont Sainte Anne.

The program includes a flagship race, QMT 135, as well as several other distances and a permanent course. The event provides practical information such as schedule details, results, a frequently asked questions section, and volunteer information. Photos, videos, and an aftermovie from previous editions are available.

Registration opens on 1 August 2025 according to the event information. The event lists partners and vendors and includes services related to runner experience, sustainable development, and regional hospitality in Charlevoix and the Côte de Beaupré area.

Trail runs nearby

Certified races on May 2 and 3, 2026: 21.1K, 10K, 5K and 2K on Quebec City’s south shore, featuring river views on the Parcours des Anses and a GOLD sanction from Athlétisme Québec.

Trail event at Duchesnay on May 17 and 18, 2026 offering races from 1.5 km to 48 km. Fees shown include taxes and service charges and some bibs are reserved.

Trail races at Station touristique Duchesnay range from 3 km to 48 km with single track sections, lake views and ITRA points on selected distances. About 2500 runners and walkers take part across varied natural trails.

Trail La Clinique Du Coureur in Lac‑Beauport on June 6, 2026 offers trail races from 300 m to 50 km including a relay. The 50 km awards 7 400 $ in prize money and registrations include bibs, timing, marked courses and aid stations.
