About the race

POLAR BEAR ULTRA 12H is the fourth edition of a timed loop event held in Beaumont, Quebec at 58 Chemin du Domaine. The format requires each participant to complete a loop of 6.2 km once each hour until a total of 12 loops has been completed.

Each loop must be finished in less than 60 minutes. Runners who fail to complete a loop receive a DNF. The final ranking is based on the cumulative time of the twelve loops; the fastest cumulative time determines the winner.

Race regulations include a limit of one support crew per participant, with no replacement allowed after the race starts. No assistance may be given to a runner once their loop has begun. Runners must remain on the course during a loop except to use the toilet, must be present in the start zone before the next loop begins, and must keep their bib, bracelet, or chevière at all times. Cheating or taking shortcuts will lead to disqualification. After completing a loop, runners may go to the designated rest area and receive help from their crew. Spectators are not permitted in the rest area but may encourage runners on the course.

The event is organized by EvenMust and the published ticket price is CAD 134.46. The event has a no refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
