Big Wolf’s Backyard Arctic Lévis

Big Wolf’s Backyard Arctic Lévis is scheduled for 30 January 2027 at Sentiers La Balade de Lévis, in the sector of the former Cistercian abbey of Saint-Romuald. The event is presented as a winter Backyard Last One Standing formatted as an open ended race rather than fixed 6 hour, 12 hour, or 24 hour options.

The course uses trails specially prepared for the event within the landscapes of La Balade. Participants will run repeated loops and face winter conditions including cold, darkness, and fatigue as part of the organized Last One Standing format. The edition is described as a winter Backyard of this type in Quebec.

Event logistics include an indoor building for participants and their crews with a large comfortable space for recovery between loops. A four sided glass fireplace is provided to warm the group during the weekend and on site food service will be available to keep participants within the event area. The event is produced in collaboration with Sentiers La Balade de Lévis and local ambassadors. Entry is limited to 100 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
