SnowNergie
SnowNergie is a winter trail event held on 5 and 6 February 2027 at the Sentiers du Boisé in Boischatel, Quebec. The program features running and walking on snow in espadrilles or in raquettes across marked courses that run through the Domaine du Boisé and nearby areas.
Events and distances include:
- Nocturne - 5 km - run or walk in espadrilles or raquettes
- RAQ Fest - 5 km, 10 km, 14 km - raquette race
- XC Blanc - 5 km, 10 km, 14 km - espadrilles race
- Rando - 5 km - walk in espadrilles or raquettes
- Familiale - 1 km - children run or walk, parental accompaniment free
A shuttle is available to transport participants to the 14 km start at Manoir Montmorency. Registration benefits all participants with a souvenir gift, medals for finishers (except the 5 km Nocturne), timing by SportChrono, course markings every kilometre, and access to aid stations offering water and electrolytes.
On-site services include bib distribution the day before and the morning of the event, vestiaire arrangements (truck "cube" for 14 km starters; chalet vestiaire for other events), free parking, first aid and evacuation support, three photographers with free downloads, post-race meals including a vegetarian option, mulled wine and hot chocolate, and family activities. The event is held in winter conditions unless safety concerns require change; participants will be informed by email and social media.
