Tour de Trails is a winter trail race series held in the Rockford, Illinois area from December 20, 2025 to March 21, 2026. The series comprises four separate trail races at different preserves and park sites in Winnebago County and nearby Byron. Course conditions may include ice, snow and very cold weather. Events are subject to cancellation by park or health authorities; there are no refunds if a race is cancelled. Proceeds support Rockford Road Runners (RRR) community activities.

- 3 Mile - Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve, Rockford, IL (Dec. 20)
- 6 Mile - Rock Cut State Park, boat launch, Loves Park, IL (Jan. 17)
- 9 Mile - Byron Forest Preserve, 7993 N. River Road, Byron, IL (Feb. 21)
- 12 Mile - Severson Dells / Funderburg / Coleman Forest Preserve, 8786 Montague Rd, Rockford, IL (Mar. 21)
Entry fees vary by event and age group; a four-race series entry and a no-swag series option are offered. Some events have price increases or registration deadlines in advance of race dates. Packet pickup takes place on site before each race. The 9- and 12-mile races include an early-start option for runners who maintain a pace of 13 minutes or more per mile; registrants will be asked to verify pace. Awards include certificates for overall winners and five-year age groups, and personalized awards for top finishers are mailed after the events. A club membership discount of 10% applies for Rockford Road Runners; there are no discounts for day-of registration. Course maps will be posted prior to the races.
