Tough Mudder - Chicago
The event takes place at Rockford International Airport in Rockford, Illinois, about an hour from downtown Chicago. Multiple course options are offered, including a 5K, a 15K, and an 8-hour Infinity challenge. The Infinity event involves completing multiple laps of the main course within the time limit.
Participants will encounter over 20 obstacles on the 15K course and over 12 obstacles on the 5K course. The terrain includes flat fields, wooded trails, and creek crossings.
All finishers receive a 2026 finisher medal, a finisher shirt, and an orange finisher headband. A complimentary finisher beer or seltzer is provided. There is a Mudder Village festival area with food, music, and entertainment. Spectator passes are available for purchase. Parking and bag drop services are offered for a fee.
Group packages are available for teams of 10 or more people. A volunteer program offers free event entry in exchange for assistance. Military personnel and first responders are eligible for a discount on registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
