The course runs across forest lined trails, dusty desert mud and sandy areas that can trap footwear. Selected obstacles on the course are described as follows: Everest is a greased 13 foot quarterpipe that requires a run and jump, Arctic Enema is a 34 degree ice pit, and Pyramid Scheme is a slick 15 foot climbing wall. The Infinity option allows racers to stack chip timed 15K or 5K laps within a set time and offers first access to the course on select weekends. There is a 50 mile club target for long distance accumulators.
Finishers receive 2027 finisher medals using the Hex System, a finisher shirt, an orange finisher headband, and a complimentary finisher beer or seltzer.
