Essex Trail Events presents More Toppesfield Tens on 04 Oct 2026 in Toppesfield. The event offers two measured trail distances and is organised under UK Athletics rules with a TRA permit applied for. Dogs are not permitted at this UK Athletics event.
Distances

- 6.2 miles (approx 10 km)
Minimum ages are 17 years for the 10 mile distance and 16 years for the 6.2 mile distance. The race uses self navigation: participants receive a written route description on the day. There are no course markings, no marshals, and no GPX file. This is not a mass start event; runners will be timed out and back in at the finish.
Race headquarters is at The Green Man, Church Lane, Toppesfield CO9 4DR. Parking at the venue is very limited and participants are asked to park with due care to other people's property and access. Entry fees are listed as £9 for affiliated runners and £11 for unaffiliated runners, with a service or booking fee applying (minimum 50p). No transfers are allowed after 28 September. Entries close 02 Oct 2026.
If one person enters additional participants on their behalf, the organiser requires full contact and emergency details and confirmation of terms for those entrants before the closing date.
