The Tofte Trek Wilderness Race takes place on July 4, 2026, in Tofte, Minnesota. The start and finish area is at the Birch Grove Community Center on Goodneighbor Hill Road. The event includes three separate activities:
- Tofte Trek 10k Run
- Tofte Trek 1 Mile
- Tofte Trek 10k Walk
Course Description
The 10k course begins at the community center and goes uphill toward the Superior Hiking Trail. The return route uses a snowmobile trail, which is noted for having mud.
Rules and Information
Participants in the 10k event must be at least 11 years old. Dogs are not permitted on the race course or inside the Birch Grove Community Center. Awards are given for overall and age-group performances.
Race packets can be collected on the morning of the event. The first 200 people to register for either the 10k run or walk receive a Tofte Trek T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
