Trail Running calendar near Lutsen 2026-2027

A June 13, 2026 trail running fundraiser at Mt. Ashwabay with 50K, 25K, 10K and a 5K fun run with obstacles. The looped course moves through old growth maple and hemlock with panoramic views of Lake Superior.

A trail event in Tofte with a 10K run, a 10K walk, a one mile race and a kids sprint. The course climbs toward the Superior Hiking Trail and returns on a muddy snowmobile trail, with awards and limited event shirts.

A 4.4 mile run and walk through the woods, trails, and back-roads of Brimson Minnesota with a virtual option. All proceeds support the Brimson Area Volunteer Fire Department, Minnesota's 2025 Fire Department of the Year.

Three trail races along the Superior Hiking Trail on Minnesota’s North Shore: 100 miles, 50 miles and a 26.2 mile marathon-style course, held in Lutsen on September 11 and 12, 2026, with maps, aid stations and race support.

A day of cross-country ski races at Giants Ridge, Minnesota, with 50K and 25K freestyle and classic events plus an 8K freestyle, held on 60 km of groomed Nordic trails and supported by on-site amenities.
