Porkies 100 Endurance Races
The Porkies 100 Endurance Races are scheduled for September 19 to 20, 2026, in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan. The event uses a single 50 mile loop as the course. That loop is run once for the 50 mile race and twice for the 100 mile race.

The course travels sections of park trail that include steep climbs, technical descents, and trail surfaces with mud, rocks, and roots. Runners will encounter remote stretches with limited access, sections of the North Country National Scenic Trail, and shoreline and ridgeline scenery near Lake Superior. Night running is part of the event and may occur in deep wilderness conditions. Long periods of solitude are likely, with minimal external noise beyond wildlife and flowing water.
Aid stations are placed along the route and will offer a mix of traditional ultra food and hot options. Because of the remote course layout, crews and pacers are allowed only at designated access points. Registration is coming soon.
