Trail Running calendar near Porcupine Mountains 2026-2027

Three trail races along the Superior Hiking Trail on Minnesota’s North Shore on Sept 11 and 12 2026, offered at 100 miles, 50 miles and 26.2 miles.

A trail event in the Porcupine Mountains featuring a rugged 50-mile race and a Heavy Half-Marathon across remote, rocky, and rooted wilderness trails.

The Brody Strong will take place in Chassell on Saturday 19 September 2026. You can run 5 kilometers.

Rump Roast Run in Minocqua features a 1 mile kids run, a 5K and a 10K along Lake Minocqua and the Bearskin State Trail. The races take place with the Beef-A-Rama festival, including live music, food vendors and a beer garden.

Community 5K at Torpy Park in Minocqua supporting the Minocqua Professional Police Association with medals for top finishers and a cops and robbers costume theme.

Trail ultramarathon at Michigan Technological University Tech Trails in Houghton MI with supported 25K and 50K loop courses, aid stations, and a headlamp requirement for the 50K.

A one-day cross-country ski event at Swedetown in Calumet, MI on March 13, 2027, featuring multiple distances from 1 km junior races to 52 km, plus Para Nordic races, a post-race pasty luncheon, awards, and an event hat.
