Trail Running calendar near Porcupine Mountains 2026-2027

Trail and kids races at Pincushion Mountain Trails near Grand Marais on August 1, 2026. New 5k and 10k courses run on grassy nordic trails with some technical sections and chip timing for most races.

Trail races on the Superior Hiking Trail along Lake Superior in northern Minnesota. Offers 100 miles, 50 miles and 26.2 miles on September 11 and 12, 2026, with maps, crew and aid station information provided.

A 50 mile single loop and a half marathon through Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park near Ironwood, Michigan. The course features steep climbs, technical trails, remote sections, and staffed aid stations with hot options.

The Brody Strong will take place in Chassell on Saturday 19 September 2026. You can run 5 kilometers.

Rump Roast Run in Minocqua features a 1 mile kids run, a 5K and a 10K along Lake Minocqua and the Bearskin State Trail. The races take place with the Beef-A-Rama festival, including live music, food vendors and a beer garden.

A trail ultramarathon at Michigan Tech offering 25k and 50k loop courses with marked trails, multiple aid stations, and timed cutoffs. The 50k requires a headlamp for the early portion and runners must check in at each aid station.
