History and Atmosphere

The event was first held in 2006. The atmosphere is described as friendly, continuing into the night with a ceilidh. Prizes are awarded for top overall results, age groups, teams, and spot prizes.

Entry Information

A waiting list is currently open for entries. A transfer window for entries operates in January, after which the event is closed to further entries or transfers. Trail runs nearby

A 35 miles island circuit around Tiree that runs along beaches, tracks and dunes. Individual runners and two person relay teams follow checkpoints with on-course support and a 10 hour cut off.
