Trail Running calendar near Tiree 2026-2027

The Ben Nevis Skyline will take place in Fort William on Saturday 19 September 2026. You can run 29 kilometers.

A 47 km mountain trail across the Mamores with about 3,100 m ascent, linking five Munro summits from Kinlochleven to Nevis Range. Fully waymarked with live GPS tracking, one support point at 31 km and mandatory kit requirements.

A technical 106 km mountain skyrun around Ben Nevis with 6,350 m ascent, 12 Munros, mandatory kit, GPS tracking and a 30 hour time limit.

October 2026

A multisport course from Kinlochleven that combines a Loch Leven swim, mountain bike sections and a run to the summit of Ben Nevis over 73 km.

A fully waymarked and supported sea to summit ultramarathon of about 45 km and 5400 ft ascent from the coast to the summit of Ben Nevis, part of the Sea to Summit Trilogy.

March 2027

Mixed terrain races at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye offering 10k, 5k, walking 5k and a short woodland Fun Run.

April 2027

125 km coastal mountain ultra on the remote Knoydart Peninsula in Scotland, run over three stages with tent accommodation and staffed checkpoints about every 10 km.

May 2027

Annual coastal races on Tiree offering a 10 km and a half marathon with a beach start, evening prizegiving and a linked Tri-island challenge.

A trail running event on Scotland's Kintyre Way offering a shorter 35 mile ultra and rotating section routes with relay options, varied coastal and woodland terrain, waymarking, finish facilities and GPS timing with proceeds supporting rout..

A 28 km fell race on the Isle of Jura with seven summits and 2,370 m of ascent. Limited to 250 places, the course tests hillcraft and endurance and is described as one of the tougher races at this distance.
