Tiree Ultramarathon

The Tiree Ultramarathon is a scenic 35-mile race around the Isle of Tiree, located in the Hebrides, Scotland. The island is known for its white sandy beaches, rugged coastline, and unspoilt landscapes. The course follows the island’s circumference, starting and finishing at Gott Bay, and features varied terrain including firm sandy beaches, gravel tracks, grassy dunes, and some rocky outcrops.
Runners navigate through checkpoints with guidance from route arrows and event staff. The event welcomes individual runners and relay teams of two or four. Participants receive a tech t-shirt, medal, goodie bag, and enjoy post-race celebrations including a traditional island ceilidh.
