Tiree Ultramarathon : 6 September 2026
The Tiree Ultramarathon is a 35 mile route that circumnavigates the island of Tiree. The course starts and finishes at Scarinish Beach Hotel by the harbour and runs clockwise, keeping the sea on the runner's left. The route visits 14 beaches, with the final beach being Gott Bay, described as the longest of the beaches on the course. Runners follow a series of checkpoints with simple navigation between them; route arrows and an event team are provided to keep participants on the correct line.
