Timberview Trail Run - Lory State Park (June 27, 2026)

The Timberview Trail Run is a trail race at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado. The event is the seventh annual running and is listed as a USATF sanctioned, 100% plant based event. The course runs among treetops with views of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the foothills.

Distances offered:

  • 10 Mile double loop of the 5 mile course.
  • 5 Mile technical single loop with more turns and elevation gain.
  • 5K easier intro route suitable for children and beginners.

All courses share the same aid stations, which provide water, fuel and electrolyte drink in biodegradable cups. Aid stations will also include water bowls for dogs. The organizer notes that athletes are responsible for knowing course routes; courses are marked and volunteers are stationed along the route. Wet weather alternate routes are available and route adjustments may occur pending weather; course maps and wet-weather PDFs are provided.

Logistics mention venue parking limits, a parking pass on the race bib for some entrants, and volunteer assistance for parking. Athlete perks listed include an event shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free event photos, post race food and drinks, and professional chip timing. Sponsors and on-site vendors are expected; pancakes and a beer station are noted as part of the finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
