Timberview Trail Run 2026
The Timberview Trail Run takes place at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado. The event offers a trail racing experience through the foothills and treetops, providing views of Horsetooth Reservoir and Fort Collins. This is a USATF sanctioned, 100% plant-based event that features three distinct distances on dirt trails:
- 5K
- 5 Mile
- 10 Mile
The 5K route is designed for those seeking a shorter distance on the dirt. The 5 Mile course includes technical trails with varied turns and elevation gain. The 10 Mile race consists of two laps of the 5 mile course, increasing the total elevation climbed. In the event of inclement weather, alternate course routes are prepared to comply with park ranger regulations.
Participants receive a forest green event shirt, a 3D wood finisher medal, professional chip timing, and access to free event photos. The post-race area provides food, including pancakes, and craft beer at the finish line. All aid stations are stocked with water and electrolyte drinks in biodegradable cups, and also include water bowls for dogs. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance.
Parking is available at the venue, though space is limited and carpooling is encouraged. A valid parking pass or proof of race entry is required at the park ranger booth. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
