Timberclaw Partner Relay Overview

The Timberclaw Partner Relay: 3 Hour Challenge is a team-based endurance event located in Lebanon, Maine. Participants compete in teams of two, with one registration fee covering both members of the pair. The event is structured as a relay where partners alternate running duties over a set duration of three hours.

The course consists of 2-mile loops that navigate through a mixed landscape of trails and open fields. The format requires one teammate to complete a loop while the other partner recovers. Once the active runner finishes their lap, the partners switch roles. This rotation continues throughout the duration of the event.

Event Format and Goal

The primary objective for each team is to accumulate the greatest total distance possible within the three-hour time limit. The structure emphasizes consistent performance and teamwork. Results are determined by the total number of laps and the distance covered by the pair before the time expires. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
