The Tiger's Trail is a fell race organised by Totley AC in the Peak District, England on Wednesday 22 April 2026. The course is approximately 10 km / 6.2 miles with about 259 m / 850 ft of ascent. The race is categorised BS and has a Permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Minimum age for entry is 18. Entry on the day and pre-entry are both available. Teams are not allowed and there are no junior races.
Course, kit and race procedures
The start is at the start of Houndkirk Road, above the Fox House pub on Hathersage Road, Sheffield. The route is marshaled at the major turning points. All runners must display their race number clearly on the chest at the start, at checkpoints and at the finish. Runners must carry any kit required by the Race Organiser; mandatory kit inspections may be performed on race day. Competitors are expected to bring FRA Best Practice kit in case of poor weather, and failure to carry required kit can result in disqualification. Dogs are not permitted. Runners retiring from the race must inform Race Control rather than only a marshal.
Facilities and prizes
Toilets, changing facilities, food, a bar and parking are available; car sharing and use of Longshaw car park are encouraged. Prizes include top three male and female, first Totley runner and age-group prizes for 18-23, Senior, V40, V50, V60 and V70, plus a few spot prizes.
