Tiger's Trail Race

Longshaw, United Kingdom • 22 Apr 2026

Tigers Trail (Totley AC)

Tigers Trail is an evening trail race organised by Totley AC on Wednesday 22nd April 2026. The course starts at the beginning of Houndkirk Road above the Fox House pub, Hathersage Road, Sheffield. The route is approximately 6.2 miles / 10 km with about 850 ft / 259 m of ascent. A course map is provided by the organiser.

Facilities at the event include toilets, food, a bar and limited parking; car sharing and use of Longshaw car park are encouraged. Numbers are issued on arrival at the pub and the route is marshaled at the major turning points. Race numbers must be clearly visible on the chest at the start, at checkpoints and at the finish; numbers may be recorded at some checkpoints and failure to show a number can lead to disqualification. Dogs are not permitted on the course.

Kit requirements follow FRA Best Practice and may be mandated by the Race Organiser depending on conditions. The specified kit includes a waterproof whole body cover with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle and emergency food. Mandatory kit inspections may be carried out before the start and possibly on completion; competitors without the required kit will not be admitted to the start or may be disqualified. Retirement from the race must be reported to Race Control rather than only to a marshal.

Prizes will be presented in the marquee at the pub car park and include top three men and women, first Totley runner and awards for several age groups, plus spot prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
