Courses and aid stations
The 5k is a single clockwise loop that goes out on a forest road and returns on a rolling trail. The 12k follows much of the Half Marathon route before turning east along 5500 road and Fully Rigid Trail to rejoin the finish route. The Half Marathon begins with a long climb on the Master Link Trail, connects to forest roads on the upper slopes, passes below the summit, and includes a long moderate descent on mountain bike trails before returning around the eastern flank of the mountain. Aid stations and climb figures by distance: 5.0k - 510 feet climb - no aid stations; 12.6k - 1,300 feet climb - 1 aid station; Half Marathon - 2,005 feet climb - 2 aid stations. Runners are advised to carry a bottle or hydration bladder, especially for the longer distances.
