Tiger Mountain Trail Run
The Tiger Mountain Trail Run takes place on June 6, 2026 at Tiger Mountain State Forest near Issaquah, Washington. The event uses the Department of Natural Resources trailhead parking area on the east side of the mountain for the start and finish and features loop courses that are well marked and supported.
Courses use a variety of trails and terrain from gently rolling to steep. The half marathon route includes a long climb on the Master Link Trail, sections on forest roads, and descents on mountain biking trails before returning via trails on the eastern flank of the mountain. Aid stations are provided on the longer courses and runners are advised to carry personal hydration on longer distances.
Distances and course details:
- 5.0k - 510 feet climb; no aid stations.
- 12.6k - 1300 feet climb; 1 aid station.
- Half Marathon (13.56 miles) - 2005 feet climb; 2 aid stations.
Online pre-registration closes June 4. A youth runner discount of $10 applies to elementary, middle, and high school participants and is applied automatically during registration.
Parking is at the DNR trailhead and along the gravel approach road; a Discover Pass is required to park on DNR lands. During the event the trails remain open to other users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians. Horses have the right of way and runners should follow standard passing etiquette.
