Thundering Hooves 5k/1mile Trail Run/Walk

Thundering Hooves is a trail run and walk held on May 30, 2026 at Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue in Mt. Airy, Maryland. The event takes place across a 340 acre farm and uses wooden forest trails and wide open grass pathways that offer views across the property. Participants may encounter more than 180 draft horses on the farm during the event.

There are in-person and virtual registration options. Adult entries are listed at USD 50 and child entries at USD 40; virtual entries are listed at USD 50.
