Three Beaks - Trail Running Day

This event takes place on Sunday 17 May 2026 at Beak Brewery in Lewes, England. It comprises three self supported trail runs that both start and finish at the brewery site.

Distances offered

  • 25 km circular route
  • 17 km Double Beak route
  • 8 km Single Beak circular route

Each run is organised as a social, self supported outing with run leaders provided. Routes are not marked on the ground but will be shared with participants beforehand and leaders will guide the groups. All routes include hills; participants must be confident in their ability to cover the distance entered and bring their own supplies. A kit list is available in the event FAQs.

All runs begin from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters next to Beak Brewery, where coffee is available before the start. Runs finish at Beak Brewery, where participants receive a complimentary beer or soft drink. Spaces for the event are fully booked; there is a waitlist for the 25 km run and waitlist options are available through the organiser. Trail runs nearby

Trail races across the South Downs from Lancing Manor Leisure Centre on Sunday 3rd May 2026. Choices include marathon, half marathon and a 5 mile trail run with aid stations and course marshals.

A guided trail run around Box Hill in Surrey that accumulates about 1000 m of elevation over a 12.5 mile route. It features woodland, heathland and technical climbs with some scrambling and a steady group pace.

A friendly trail run on Headley Heath near Leatherhead with a two lap 10 km route through open and woodland paths. The undulating course has a small hill on each lap and offers scenic views and bluebells.

A point to point 50 km ultramarathon from Horsham to Brighton seafront on 9 May 2026, featuring multi terrain trails, four feed stations and a 9.5 hour cut off. Individual and two runner relay entries are offered with team prizes.
