Thorold Elite XC Prep Meet 2026

The Thorold Elite XC Prep Meet takes place in Niagara Falls, Ontario on September 27, 2026. The meet is open to all ages and includes an Open 5K race in the afternoon with men and women competing together.

Age groups follow Minor Track Association and Athletics Ontario classifications. The morning session will include MTA athletes and Athletics Ontario U14 athletes. The afternoon session will include Athletics Ontario athletes and MTA intermediate and youth categories.

Entry fees are CAD 25 per event during the regular registration period and CAD 30 during the late period. An additional non member fee of CAD 5 applies. All fees are non refundable and payments are accepted online. Regular and late registration deadlines are provided for the event.

Course maps and a 2026 technical package are posted. The meet is sanctioned by the Minor Track Association and by Athletics Ontario. Trail runs nearby

A 38th annual trail event in St. Catharines featuring a 21.1 km half marathon and a 7 km trail race with limited fields. The routes include the 12 Mile Creek Trail and Hydro Hill and support the Niagara Rankin Cancer Run.

Commemorative run in Niagara-on-the-Lake honoring General Józef Haller and the Blue Army, with races from 1 km to 10 km along the Niagara Parkway Recreational Trail. Race kit items, finisher medal and a prize draw for a flight to Poland.

A 5K trail run at Bella Rose Vineyard in Lewiston, NY on July 19, 2026 offering a stemless wine glass and complimentary wine tasting for those 21 and older, professional timing, post-race snacks, and vineyard views.

A summer ultra in Lockport, NY with 25, 50 and 100 mile options along the Erie Canal towpath. Crewed aid stations provide food and fluids on the out and back course, and a Double Beast Buckle is available for dual 100 mile finishers.
