Event overview

The Yeti Ultra Trail Washington is scheduled for June 26–27, 2026 on the Palouse to Cascades Trail with start/finish at Hyak Sno Park/Hyak Trailhead in Washington. The event offers the following distances:

  • 200K
  • 100 miles
  • 100K

Organizers list cut-offs as 30 hours for the 100K and 100-mile distances, and 35 hours for the 200K. Packet pick-up is scheduled on June 26 at Hyak Sno Park; race-day packet pick-up is available.

Course, logistics and requirements

The course is an out-and-back on crushed limestone with about 1,916 ft total elevation gain and a maximum grade of 5% (usually less). The route includes a 2.3-mile tunnel that is dark and cold; a carry light or headlamp is required. Drop bags are supported on course and the start/finish area is vehicle-accessible. Overnight car camping at Hyak is allowed but not recommended.

Crews and pacers are allowed; the trail runs parallel to I-90 and is accessible at multiple locations. Cell signal is spotty, and organizers advise downloading GPX files and offline maps. Pacers may start when they reach Hyak and may be switched at aid stations. Mandatory gear includes a reusable cup, two-bottle system or hydration pack, 500 calories carried at all times, a headlamp or carry light, and a light jacket for overnight.
