For 2026 the course is changed to start at Hyak, head down through the tunnel to Garcia, return to Hyak, and then proceed to Crystal Springs. The lower eight miles that were on the previous course will not be run in 2026.

Timing is provided by a professional chip timing service with real-time tracking, displays, and live lap counting and splits. Reported cut-off times include 30 hours and 35 hours for the 200K. A past finish rate is reported at about 85 percent. Registration opens December 1, 2025 and closes May 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
