Organizers note a course change for 2026 due to extreme damage near Homestead and North Bend. The 2026 course starts at Hyak, goes through the 2.3 mile Snoqualmie Tunnel to Garcia, returns to Hyak, and proceeds to Crystal Springs; the lower eight-mile section is not included this year.
Course information lists 1,916 feet of total elevation gain and a maximum grade of 5 percent. The surface is described as crushed limestone. The format is primarily out-and-back and passes scree fields and valley views.
