The Golden 6 Hour is a 6-hour timed event on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Cle Elum, Washington. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 8. The event will use a looped course and will issue raffle tickets to participants for prizes, including branded hoodies. There will be a tally table to track loops; organizers state results will not be posted. Awards are planned for the participant with the most loops and for the person judged to have the most "Golden" spirit.
Course and on-course services
The course uses the Swauk Forest Discovery Trail, a 2.45-mile single-track loop near the top of Blewett Pass that passes through varied woods and vegetation and offers mountain views. Aid will be provided in a potluck format with items such as hearty soups, hot apple cider, Halloween candy, Oktoberfest beer, apples with caramel dip, and roasted pumpkin seeds. A post-event dinner option is planned at Flying Horseshoe Ranch, to be led by staff with catering and baking experience; the menu will be announced closer to the event.
