The Golden 6 Hour is a scenic endurance running event held in Cle Elum, Washington, featuring a 2.45-mile single-track loop on the Swauk Forest Discovery Trail near Blewett Pass. Set amidst vibrant fall colors and turning larches, the course offers mountain views and a festive atmosphere. Participants run for six hours, enjoying a potluck-style aid station with hearty soups, hot apple cider, Halloween treats, Oktoberfest beer, and more. New in 2025, a tally table tracks loops, with awards for the most loops completed and best "Golden" spirit, encouraging fall-themed attire. A post-race dinner is also available at Flying Horseshoe Ranch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
