North Bend Trail Fest

The North Bend Trail Fest is a two-day event in North Bend, Washington. It features mountain running races and festival activities. The festival showcases outdoor activities and services from the Snoqualmie Valley area. Activities and exhibits include mountain biking, fly fishing, gravel biking, and a climbing wall.

Running Events

The running events take place over two days.

  • North Bend Skyline 30k: This race is the championship event for the Vert Running Series. It has a new course with 6,300 feet of elevation gain. It is an ITRA National Points Event and qualifies for the UTMB Index. Awards are given in three divisions: Elite (with a cash purse), Sport, and Masters (for ages 45+). All finishers receive a custom award.
  • Mt Si VK: This is a Vertical Kilometer race on October 3. It features 1,000 meters of vertical ascent in less than 5 kilometers. Participation is limited to 70 runners. All finishers receive a custom medal at the summit.
  • Little Si 10k: This race on October 4 has 1,275 feet of elevation gain. It starts at Torguson Park and goes to the Little Si summit.
  • North Bend Double: This challenge involves running both the Mt Si VK and the North Bend Skyline 30k on consecutive days, totaling over 10,000 feet of elevation gain. It is limited to 50 runners. Finishers receive a custom award and a lunch container.
