Park City, United States • 13 Dec 2025
Event overview
The Wasatch Yard is a backyard ultra held in Park City, Utah at Willow Creek Park in December 2025. The event uses a repeating loop of 4.167 miles on mixed terrain. Field size is limited to 50 runners. Aid is available only at the start/finish yard; there is no on-course aid. The event is manually timed and lists total completed loops in the results.
Format and logistics
A new loop begins on the hour; each loop must be completed within 60 minutes to continue. Runners must be in the corral when the bell rings to start the next loop. No early starts, no pacers, and crew access is limited to the yard. Night running requires a headlamp and a backup light/batteries. The event is cupless; runners should bring bottles or soft flasks. Organizers provide water, electrolyte drink, coffee/tea, broth/soup overnight, and light snacks. Basecamp space is approximately 6' x 6' per runner; small pop-ups are allowed if wind permits. Portable toilets and hand-sanitizer are provided. Participants are asked to follow Leave No Trace, stay on marked paths, and obey park rules. Milestone recognition is available at 12, 24, 36, and 48 loops. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
