Event Details

The Triple C at Woolly Hollow is an annual trail race held in memory of Curtis Colt Childress. All proceeds go to the Cabugcayan Mission/Biliran Church of Christ in the Philippines.

The event takes place on the first Saturday of December at Woolly Hollow State Park in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Distances and Courses

The event offers three trail running distances:

  • 10 miles: The course includes a short paved section and follows the Enders Fault Mountain Bike Trail. It finishes at the top of a dirt access road in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot.
  • 4 miles: This course begins on a paved road, follows the Huckleberry Trail, passes a waterfall and a lake, and finishes in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot.
  • 1 mile: This shorter course is described as a fun run/walk, beginning on pavement and using the gravel parking lot and a dirt access road. It is noted as being suitable for children.

A virtual run/walk option is also available.

Additional Information

Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 10-mile and 4-mile courses. Aid stations are provided, with trash bags available to support the park's "leave no trace" policy. Participants are encouraged to carry out their trash.

Registration for in-person events includes a shirt, but this is not guaranteed for registrations after November 8, 2025.
