The Trail Run at the Monkey Trails
The Trail Run at the Monkey Trails takes place on February 21, 2026, at Eddie D. Jones Park, 8400 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, LA 71047. The event offers three measured trail distances run on the park's maintained trails that wind through the property.
Distances:
- 10 mile, 3 hour time limit for completion
- 5 mile
- 3 mile
Awards are offered for all three distances: overall Male and Female, and 1st and 2nd place Male and Female within the following age groups: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Times for participants remaining on the 10 mile course after the three hour limit will not be recorded.
Registration prices vary by date: $32 through February 6, $37 February 7 through February 20, and $40 on race day. A $5 reduction applies for entrants who select the "I have too many race shirts" shirt option. Packet pickup is provided at Sportspectrum in Shreveport on the days before the event and on the morning of the race. A post-race gathering includes burgers and drinks.
