The STAR Backyard PEASLAKE is a trail running event organised by Surrey Trek and Run at Peaslake Community Hall, Peaslake, Surrey (GU5 9RR). It is the first of a three-event STAR Backyard series, with Holmbury St. Mary and Shere to follow. The event runs for three hours and asks participants to complete as many 5 km laps as possible within that time. There is no chip timing; runners wear a race number and receive a wristband for each completed lap. This is a head-torch event. The entry fee is £20 and includes refreshments. Prizes are awarded to the winners of the men's and women's races. The event date is Friday 21st November 2025.
Course and practical information
The course starts at Peaslake Village Hall and proceeds clockwise through Walking Bottom Car Park. The route includes a gentle 2 km ascent toward Pitch Hill, followed by a mostly downhill return to the start to complete each lap.
