The local event format is an open 8-hour loop window during which participants may complete as many laps as they choose.

Course, distances and race details

The main loop is 8 km with 344 m of ascent and 347 m of descent per lap. The course follows mixed dirt and single-track trails around the lake and includes foot bridges, streams, waterfalls including Rolley Falls, and lake views. Technical uphill and downhill sections make the route unsuitable for wheels or strollers. Aid is provided at the start/finish area every lap and is stocked with water, snacks and medical support. Additional details:

  • 8 km loop - main event, course open for 8 hours
  • 7.5 km (relay route) - relay teams limited to 2 people; partners register separately
  • 1 km fun run - non-technical trail path, all ages welcome

All participants receive a finisher gift or medal, access to finish-line food, eligibility for draw prizes, and an award for the most laps completed. Early, late and event-day registration fees are listed by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
