Event overview

The Rolley Coaster is a looped trail event at Rolley Lake Provincial Park in Mission, BC, scheduled for May 30, 2026. The event supports the Mission Search and Rescue Team; five dollars from every registration is donated to Mission SAR. Local participation is limited to 150 entrants. A virtual option is offered; virtual participants receive a mailed event package that includes a bib and finisher’s gift, and a donation to Mission SAR is included with registration.

Course and format

The main course is an 8 km loop around Rolley Lake with approximately 344 m of ascent and 347 m of descent per lap. The route uses mixed dirt and single-track trails, includes technical uphill and downhill sections, foot bridges, streams, waterfalls (including Rolley Falls), and lake views. The course is not suitable for wheels or strollers. Aid is provided at the start/finish every loop and is stocked with water, F2C nutrition drink mix, snacks, medical support and a variety of food items. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within the event time window. A relay option allows teams of two to share the looped format.
