The Ranch 50K / Half Marathon : Daley Ranch, Escondido, CA
The Ranch 50K and Half Marathon take place at Daley Ranch with the Start/Finish at the Dixon Lake Picnic Area on February 13, 2027. The event offers two race distances:
- 50K two 25K loops
- Half Marathon single loop
The 50K course is a 25K loop run twice, with 3,159 feet (963 m) of elevation gain per loop and 6,318 feet (1,926 m) total. The half marathon is a single loop with 2,706 feet (825 m) of gain. There are three fully stocked aid stations on course; their locations include La Honda, Cougar Pass, and Dixon Lake (Start/Finish). The 50K has cut-offs of 4.75 hours for the first loop and 9.5 hours for completion of the second loop. The half marathon has a 9 hour cut-off.
Registration opens September 1, 2026. Packet pickup is expected the week before the race at Milestone Running North Park location, with an option to pick up on race morning; no day of registration is available. Training runs begin and end at the Daley Ranch Gate near Dixon Lake Parking Lot, with planned sessions approximating 8 miles, 13.1 miles, and 15.5 miles.
