Event Overview

The Ranch 50k is an event scheduled for February 13, 2027, in Escondido, California. The event offers two distances: a 50k and a half marathon. It takes place in the Daley Ranch area, with the start and finish line at the Dixon Lake Picnic Area.

Course Details

The 50k course consists of a 15.6-mile loop to be run twice, for a total of 6,318 feet of elevation gain. The half marathon is a single 13.1-mile loop with 2,706 feet of gain. There are three fully stocked aid stations on the course: La Honda, Lilac Hill, and Dixon Lake (the start/finish).

Rules and Logistics

There are time cutoffs for both events. For the 50k, the cutoff is 4.75 hours for the first loop and 9.5 hours for the second loop. The half marathon has a 9-hour cutoff. The event is permitted by the City of Escondido.

Registration and Amenities

The Coast to Crest offers a flat and fast 10K and 5K on hard-packed trails in Del Mar. Runners enjoy spectacular lagoon views and a downhill finish. It's the final championship qualifier for the series.
