The Rabid Squirrel is a trail event held in Danbury, NC at 1110 Flinchum Rd. The course is described as about 11ish miles with approximately 1600' of ascent and 2400' of downhill. The route includes two rock scrambles and a river crossing of about a third of a mile. Notable on-course features include the Knob of Moores, the Hour of Rock, and the Stone Wolf.

Volunteers are described as available to help with shuttles but their vehicle capacity is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
