The 50 Mile course has more than 7,500 ft of elevation gain. The 50K course has more than 4,000 ft of climbing. Course terrain includes technical singletrack, rugged climbs, steep descents, and fire roads. There are multiple aid stations and three course cutoff points; both race courses will close in the evening.

Registration packages include a custom finisher medal, a custom hoodie, a finisher towel, a reusable race cup, a bumper sticker, post-race food and drinks, and age-group awards. Climb to the summit at Pilot Mountain State Park with the Pilot Mountain Goat, a small trail race offering 3 and 7 mile courses on scenic trails. Limited to 150 runners, finishers receive an embroidered beanie and a post race breakfast.

Run the HAROC at Hanging Rock State Park, with scenic ridges, rewarding climbs, and a choice of 25k or 50k distances. Expect rugged trail terrain, aid stations on course, and a spirited winter trail community.

Warm up your winter at the Freakin Freezin 5K in Winston Salem on Feb 15 at Jamison Park. Run the scenic paved trail with chip timing, water stops, and a custom finisher medal, or join virtually from anywhere.

Tackle a scenic, rugged 25K on Pilot Mountain trails, winding up to the summit and around Jomeokee Pinnacle. Limited to 125 runners, this February 21 event includes stocked aid stations, a long sleeve tech shirt, and a hot post race meal.
