The course follows an ancient Pre-Roman trading route and former Roman road, featuring a mix of straight tracks, bridleways, footpaths, and quiet country roads. The terrain is relatively flat and well-marked, making it accessible for runners of all abilities, including beginners. Participants receive detailed GPS files, enjoy four checkpoints (two indoor, two outdoor), and benefit from safety measures like GPS tracking, first aid, and course sweepers.
