The One in the Mud - Henley

The One in the Mud - Henley is a family festival centered on a children's obstacle course and a village of activities. The event takes place on June 27, 2026 at Culden Faw Estate, Henley on Thames (Culden Faw, Greenlands, Hambleden, RG9 3AS).

Distances offered at the event include:

Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. The OCR for ages 3-5 runs a small loop within the event village. The OCR for ages 6-15 follows a larger loop that runs by the river and into the forest, finishing back in the event village. Obstacles include Tyre Jump, Over and Under Logs, Rope Climb with a bell, Water Pond, Mud Run, Tyre Press, Rope Swing, River Crossing, Mud Bath, Spider Web, Inflatable Bath, Climbing Wall, Inflatable Slide, Foam Bath, Overhand Bars, Hang Tough, Pipe Crawl, Cargo Net Climb and related features. The event village includes a stage with live music, circus acts, a bouncy castle, activity stalls, a game zone and food vendors. Facilities note medical cover on site, no bag drop, food catering, free portable toilets only in the village, no dedicated changing rooms or showers, and water available at the start and finish. Event photography is expected to be available after the event. Event pack collection is handled at the registration tent on the day and a pre-event information email is sent to registered participants. Bolt Round the Holt is a forest trail race at Alice Holt Forest on 26 April 2026 offering Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and a Junior Run while raising funds for GUTS to support bowel cancer detection and care.
