About the race
The Lone Wolf Backyard Ultra is an exciting running event hosted by Stag Leap Running Co. at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre. This unique race format challenges participants to complete a 6.64 km loop within an hour, with the race starting again in the opposite direction each hour.
Competitors can enter as solo runners (Lone Wolves) or in two-person teams (Coyotes), promoting inclusivity for all skill levels. The event features a special speed lap award and supports the Elk Valley Pride Festival, with proceeds from beer sales benefiting the Fernie Pride Society.
