THE LAP - Windermere Ultra Anticlockwise

THE LAP - Anticlockwise is a fully way-marked 47 mile trail ultra that circumnavigates Lake Windermere. The event is open to runners and walkers and allows 24 hours for completion. The minimum age is 16.

The route uses predominantly tracks, trail and single track, with some steeper fell paths and occasional short sections of quiet country road. This low level Lakes route is described as suitable for those new to ultra distance and as a fast option for experienced racers.

A recce GPX is attached to the entry confirmation and the event GPX with permissive routes is sent in the final information email. There are five fully stocked feed stations, a halfway aid station with bag drop, and a finisher's meal provided regardless of finish time. Finishers receive a locally sourced medal.
