The ingram pendulum 10k

The ingram pendulum 10k is a routed trail event on Sunday 24 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Ingram Village Hall in Northumberland. The course visits the summits of two local hills in the Ingram Valley and returns to the hall between and after the climbs. The total distance is 10 km.

From the village hall the route includes a 1.6 mile climb to the summit of Cochrane Pike, an ancient hillfort. Runners return to the hall before a second outward leg that includes an equally steep 1.6 mile climb up East Hill, followed by the final descent back to the finish. The description emphasises two outward-and-return climbs arranged in a pendulum pattern.

Entries open 28 April 2026 and close 20 May 2026. The published entry fee is £16. Entries recorded so far show one participant. The event is organised by Cheviot Trail Events and takes place in a working and environmentally sensitive area; dogs are not permitted on the course.

The organiser provides standard event terms and a cancellation and refund policy. The event uses a pre-entry system for administration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
