The Hustle at Pinehurst

The Hustle at Pinehurst takes place on October 4, 2026, at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area near Ayr, Ontario. The event centers on a 12.5K loop and offers longer distances based on repeating that loop.

Offered distances:

  • 12.5K single loop
  • 25K two loops
  • 50K four loops
  • 50K Relay teams of 2 to 4 runners, each running 12.5K legs

The 12.5K circuit runs through Carolinian forest singletrack, circles Pinehurst Lake, and passes open meadows. About 70% of the course is natural trail. Elevation gain is 233 meters per 12.5K loop. The route includes runnable sections, some roots to watch for, and several short climbs.

There are four aid points placed roughly at 4.5K, 6K, 9K and 12.5K (start/finish). Stations will stock water, Skratch Labs lemon-lime, soda, and a mix of salty and sweet snacks. The race is cup free; participants must bring a cup or hydration system.

Logistics: on-site parking is limited, there is no bag check, poles are not permitted without an accommodation, strollers and pets are not allowed on the course, and headphones are permitted at low volume. A third-party paramedical service will be on site, porta potties and coin-operated showers are available. All finishers receive a New Balance finisher backpack and other items included in the race kit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
