Event Overview
The ENDURrun Sport is an eight-day, eight-stage running event with a total distance of 80 km. It is described as a comprehensive running challenge that tests disciplines across road racing, cross country, trail running, and track racing.
Stages and Locations
The event takes place over eight consecutive days in August 2026, with stages held at various locations in the Waterloo Region of Ontario, Canada.
- Stage 1 (10 km): A road race on a two-loop course at RIM Park in Waterloo.
- Stage 2 (7.5 km): A time trial on an out-and-back course at Riverbluffs Park in Cambridge.
- Stage 3 (5 km): A cross-country run on a single-loop course at Shade's Mills Conservation Area in Cambridge.
- Stage 4 (10 km): A cross-country run on a two-loop course at Shade's Mills Conservation Area in Cambridge.
- Stage 5 (5 miles / ~8 km): A hill run on a two-loop course on the Walter Bean Trail in Kitchener.
- Stage 6 (13.4 km): A technical trail run on a five-loop course at Baden Hills in Wilmot Township.
- Stage 7 (5 km): A track race consisting of 12.5 laps at St. David Catholic Secondary School in Waterloo, run in heats.
- Stage 8 (Half Marathon / ~21.1 km): A road race on a three-loop course at RIM Park in Waterloo.
Each stage has a specific time limit for completion. Failure to finish a stage within its time limit prevents further participation.
Participant Information
A pre-race meeting and kit pickup is scheduled for the day before the first stage at the Race Director's home in Conestogo. Participation in this meeting is encouraged but not mandatory.
The event includes aid stations with water and Gatorade on the courses, as well as limited post-race refreshments. All participants receive a technical t-shirt, and all finishers receive a medal.
