Kitchener Kids with Cancer 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Kiwanis Park, 1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener, Ontario. The event offers the following distances:

This is the 13th edition of the event. It supports the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario; the fundraising goal listed is $100,000 and current reported funds raised are $54.63. The event is part of Run Waterloo's Run Love series. Entry policies state that all registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable.
The event includes a free Kids 200 m run for children age 7 and under; participating children must be registered in the 5 km event. Kids 12 and under receive reduced entry pricing for the 5 km and 10 km events. The first 700 registrants receive a technical t-shirt. All finishers receive a finisher medal.
Course and logistics
Both races start and finish in Kiwanis Park. The 5 km route is one loop with an out-and-back section; the 10 km is two loops of the 5 km route. The course runs mostly on dirt trails within the park. Distances are certified and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Each kilometer is marked. Water stations are provided - one on the 5 km course and three on the 10 km course. Participants are asked to stay to the right on trail sections. Parking is available on park grounds. Animals are allowed in the park but not on the run/walk routes.
Kit pickup is scheduled on the days immediately before the race at Conestoga Mall and on race day at Kiwanis Park. Post-race offerings include refreshments, musical entertainment, and food trucks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
