The Hunt for Sasquatch

The Hunt for Sasquatch is a trail running event at Bone Valley ATV Park in Mulberry, Florida. The event offers multiple distances and multi-distance challenge options that use the park's trails, which include uneven terrain and small hills. The course provides opportunities for trail running and for observing the park environment.

Distances and options include:

  • 10K (no color powder)
  • 5K (no color powder)
  • 1 Mile (color fun run)
  • Sasquatch Revenge : 10K and 5K challenge
  • Sasquatch Trifecta : 10K, 5K and 1 Mile challenge

Registered participants receive a t-shirt and a swag bag. Shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register before Dec. 31, 2025; after that shirts are available on a first come first serve basis while supplies last and some sizes may be unavailable near race day. Each event concludes with an awards ceremony for various age groups and interactive activities.

Only day of race packet pickup is offered. The event is hosted by Polk County Parks & Recreation at Bone Valley ATV Park. Pets are not allowed in the park. Course maps are provided for the routes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
