Long Haul 100 at Colt Creek State Park
The event takes place at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, Florida on January 16 and 17, 2027. It comprises two race distances and uses looped course formats.
- 100 Mile Ultramarathon
- 100 Furlongs (12.5 Miles)
The 100 mile course is six 16.8 mile loops with access to drop bags on every loop. There are three fully staffed aid stations offering hot and cold food and beverages. The overall course cut-off is 32 hours; a 30 hour cut-off applies for Western States qualifying. Pacers may join after loop 3 at mile 50.1. The 100 furlongs event follows an abbreviated loop from the 100 mile course.
Aid station locations are listed by mile markers: AS1 at mile 3.3 and mile 8.5 (South Loop), AS2 at mile 13.2 near Metal Mark Pond, and AS3 at mile 0.5 near the Day Use Area for loops 2 through 6.
Packet pick up for the 100 mile race is scheduled the day before the event at the pavilion near Mac Lake, with an optional pre race meeting and a pizza and pasta dinner that evening. 100 furlongs packet pick up is available on race day at the pavilion near Mac Lake.
Pacers must register before the race; runners over 60 may have a pacer at any time. Parking is organized in four areas within the park and RVs are allowed only in the RV campground. Course maps are available on mapping services such as CalTopo, AllTrails, and Garmin.
