The Haldon Horror 2026 is an endurance running event on 1 March 2026 at Haldon Forest Park, EX6 7XR, Haldon, Great Britain. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events. Registration closes 20 February 2026. The event is timed by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing.

Format and distances

The event uses 5 mile laps. Participants complete as many laps as possible within their allotted time. A minimum of three laps is required to earn the event medal. There are three endurance options:

  • 3-hour event
  • 6-hour event
  • 12-hour event

Canicross categories are available for each option.

Facilities and other information

The event offers live GPS tracking, medals for all finishers, awards for top finishers and free race photography. A designated rest area is provided at the start point with fluids, salt and sugar snacks and carbohydrate options. A headtorch is required.
