The Chase Trail Run 2026 is part of the Garmin UK Trail Running Festival on 26th April 2026. Minimum age requirements: Half Marathon 17 years, 10K 15 years, 5K 11 years, juniors 0-12 years for the fun races. Entry to the 5K (8-10 years) requires the child to be at least 8 on race day, have completed 5K twice before, be accompanied by an officially entered parent or guardian at all times, and accept the booking declaration. Wheelchairs, cyclists and child buggies are not permitted on the courses. Personal audio devices are not recommended; use is allowed in 2026 without disqualification. Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase; after that no refunds are offered if a runner does not compete. The event supports the New Forest Marathon Community Fund (charity number 1176268); the wider New Forest Marathon has donated over £1.33 million to local causes. Experience moonlit trail running under headtorch on a scenic 10 km loop at Moors Valley Country Park, with the choice of one, two or three laps. Enjoy fluorescent markers and a Trees Not Tees option to plant a tree instead of a medal.

Enjoy a scenic, flat coastal run at the Bournemouth Coastal TEN, choose 10 mile or 10 km along Hengistbury Head and Boscombe Pier. Chip timing, a finisher medal and post race refreshments make it a perfect seaside challenge for all abilitie..

Take on the New Forest Stinger, a 10 mile off road trail around Ocknell Campsite in Fritham. Enjoy club camaraderie, a finisher medal, goody bag and age trophies in a limited field of trail fans.

Night orienteering in Brockenhurst: a 60 minute score event in the New Forest. Visit as many controls as you can for points using SIAC timing and waterproof maps, and bring high visibility clothing and lights for after dark navigation.
