The Chase Trail Run 2027

The Chase Trail Run will take place in April 2027 at St Giles House, Wimborne St Giles, BH21 5NA. Entries close on 23 April 2027. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a camping only option that covers three nights and includes up to four people per pitch for £75.

The event offers multiple distances and youth races:

Age rules set minimum ages for each distance: marathon 18 years, half marathon 17 years, 10K 15 years, 5K 11 years (8 to 10 years permitted when accompanied by an adult), juniors 0 to 12 years for the fun run. Some 2 mile categories are listed as sold out.

There is a Run With Your Dog option for an additional £10; the dog receives its own medal and the accompanying runner must be 18 or older. The event supports the New Forest Marathon Community Fund and offers an option to add a donation during entry; the fund has donated over £1.33 million to local causes over several decades.

Organiser guidance notes that bone conduction headphones are endorsed and in-ear headphones are not recommended. Narrow tracks mean no wheelchairs, cyclists, or buggies. Family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Bournemouth with untimed 2.5k laps, multiple distances, music zones, a finisher medal and water stations.

A community-organised road half marathon and multi-terrain 5K around Sturminster Newton on 2 August 2026, with water stations, marshals, a race T-shirt and finish cake. Online entries close 1 August; day entries possible if places remain.

A four-mile hill run in Westbury on 5 August 2026 supporting Brain Tumour Support, with 100% of entry fees to the charity, pottery mementos, prizes for finishers and best helmet, and specific accessibility and dog restrictions.

A mainly trail 5k along the Jurassic Coast from Peveril Point via Durlston Country Park to Anvil Point Lighthouse and back into Swanage. The race is part of Swanage Lifeboat Week and the Purbeck Trail Series.
